Can You Put A TV Between Two Windows?

Can you put a TV in your house between two windows? This is the question many homeowners ask, each and every year. The answer is an unequivocal “yes.”

In fact, there are actually some incredibly clever ways to place a TV that does not require much space at all. With just a few strategically placed pieces, you can position the television like a very tiny PC or entertainment center in the corner of a room. You could even place the TV on a pedestal and use a bookshelf as its wall. By cleverly positioning the TV, you will free up precious floor space, which allows for a lot more storage space in the rooms where it is needed the most.

If you do not have a lot of space in your living room or bedroom, you might be tempted to invest in a set top unit. This is a simple mechanism that consists of a small TV that plugs into a standard wall outlet. These units are usually very cheap and can fit into any budget. They are easy to move around, and because they take up very little room, you don’t have to worry about them taking up all of that corner of your room that you would rather be filling with more furniture. The downside to these items is that they do not provide a lot of storage, if any at all. Unless you are a music lover who owns several DVDs, CDs, and games, you probably will not benefit from this investment.

You can try a bracketed TV stand. These are perfect for limited spaces, because they can be pushed up against two walls or one wall, and it really looks like two walls. Because these TV stands take up very little room, they are extremely friendly to the environment. Because the TV does not have to encase the TV, there is no heating, ventilation, or electrical wiring to deal with, and this is an excellent way to save on electricity and keep your home cooler.

A built in DVD player is also something that you might want to consider. This can take up very little space, and you can place it as close to where you will actually be watching the TV as possible. Since you do not need to buy a separate box to contain this item, you will save money in the long run, and you will not have to replace the batteries as often as you would if you were buying a separate device.

There are two main choices that you can make when it comes to figuring out the best place to buy a TV. You can choose between built in and freestanding models. A built in model usually comes with a remote control that allows you to watch your favorite programs from several feet away. If you buy a freestanding model, you will be able to watch many of the same shows and programs from the comfort of your favorite chair. Both options are available, but if you are just getting started, you might prefer the built in option.
