How Do You Get Dust Out Of A Fabric Headboard?

The fabric headboard is a great addition to any bedroom, and when it gets dusty, it can take a lot of time and effort to get it cleaned up. The great thing is that it doesn’t have to cost a ton of money to clean it, or to hire a professional. Here are a few tips that will help you clean your headboard with ease.

First, you should never use detergents on your headboard. While detergents may be great at getting the stains out of clothing, they can actually leave a residue behind that attracts dust and dirt. Use regular soap and water instead, and make sure that you always dry it thoroughly after using it. By doing this, you’ll keep dust from building up and making your headboard even more dusty than it already is.

If you need to get rid of dust, you can try spraying the whole thing. You can also spray a dab of silicon cleaner on any crevices that you can find on the headboard. Silicon cleaners work great because they dry very quickly and work to get rid of stains as well. All you have to do is spray it on, let it dry and then wipe it off again with a damp cloth.

Another method that you can use is to use a dry cloth. Start by taking a really good and soft cloth and applying it very gently on the headboard. You want to focus on getting all of the dust out of the cloth. Once you’ve done that, wipe it off with another dry cloth. Make sure to dry it completely before putting anything else on the headboard.

Lastly, you can use a hair dryer to blow dry your headboard. When you are using a hair dryer, make sure that you only use the heat for about two minutes at a time. Once that is done, you can finish by drying the headboard in the cool air outside.
