Why are pictures important to have in our homes? There’s a very simple reason. They make us feel good. We look at them to remember wonderful times, such as vacations, special events, or when someone has come along in life and given us a helping hand. Picturesque rooms give us something to admire, to imagine and to hold onto.
Why are pictures important to have in our bedrooms? When decorating, we’re often faced with the decision of how to lay out certain rooms. We can decide to make rooms more playful, vibrant and animated or more serene and classy. Sometimes we’ve also decided that certain rooms should be for entertaining guests. The point is that we need to create an environment that makes it easier to be a guest too!
When you’re decorating your home, it can be difficult to know which type of pictures to hang. Should pictures to be hung at the same height in a bedroom or in the bathroom? Should they be higher or lower than the rest of the photos?
There’s really no right answer to that question. It depends on many factors including where you’re going to put your new pictures and how big you want them to be. Some people like to have larger pictures on the walls and lower their cabinet door to make room for more pictures! Others don’t want to have as much of anything near the floor, because they don’t like having to stoop or even stand to look at their pictures.
As a decorator, you have to make decisions about what is best for your space. Your personal taste will play a major role in that decision. However, it’s important to consider all of the options before you make your final decision. If you have a large room, you might not be able to hang lots of photos! So, make your decisions based on that!
In any case, when it comes down to answering the question, “Why should pictures be hung at the same height in a room?” you have to remember that each space is different. You have to think about what will work best in that particular space. In the bathroom, you might want to hang your most important pictures so you can admire them whenever you have time. Then, you can put smaller pictures on the wall to cover up some of the less important ones.
